Peugeot Team line 1500 carbon

Hi there,

I quiet like the Peugeot team line of the early to late 90s. Not really collector however they were top of the line back in the days, especially the 1500 carbon (called also 1200 when not coming from the team line department).

Well I have two questions: what do you think about the bike for a recreational use?

Then, I have the opportunity to get one. Not much info on it tho, but it has the mavic starfish crank (632 I think), spinergy revx wheels (yellow, like the xtra lite but stickers could have been changed so let's say they are the standard one), and apparently campagnolo 18 speed component but I don't know exactly which range (Veloce, Athena and Chorus 18 were options on the catalogue). It is in perfect condition.

What do you think could be a faire price for the bike? 500gbp? I'm also asking as it will be my first road bike I'd like to pay the right price for it as I'm not 100% sure I'll like it (I use to practice mtb but can't anymore).

Thanks a lot

Re:

Any opinion,? as I have to take a decision soon :)

I know my question is not really clear, as I can't tell you exactly what model of spinergy neither which Campy group set

Re:

Here is the bike, can't see clearly what Campy group it is as picture is too small

Re:

I think so, very nice color like tdf team peugeot back in the 90s. Spinergys are also 90s porn (to my opinion). Just don't know what's a right price for it. Sorry to bother

Re:

Yeah sure, it's not even really a collector but I guess there is a minimum and a maximum price I could pay for it.

Also it's, as I said, on purpose to know if I'm not gonna loose too much if let's say (I hope not) I don't like road cycling at all or I move house and I'd have to sell it. I'm not gonna buy it to make money neither.

So 500 sounds a good price for this frame and wheels? less, more?
