Peugeot Pro 753

Just got this bike, its in pretty good condition and has Shimano 600 groupset. The wheels are not standard, neither is the saddle I assume. If anyone has any information on what saddle and wheels I should try and put back on, being as original as possible. I will strip it down and give it a once over but don't think it needs respraying.
Any information on year, history etc would be most appreciated.

Well those are 753 renovation stickers so would assume it’s has a respray in the past

How can you tell? All of the Reynolds stickers I have are exactly the same as these - both new stickers and originals.

Am I missing a detail? Thanks

Sorry. I still don’t understand. I have seen stickers with ‘Renovated’ on them, but the sticker you’ve shown is exactly the same as an original sticker I have, which is the same as one I bought from Reynolds earlier this year.

These stickers were the Mk 1 original renovated stickers that I’m aware of but could be wrong of course..

Ah. One isn’t renovated and the other not, they are simply from diffent eras. The OPs Peugeot would have come with the newer, post-1989 sticker shown, if the groupset is original.

The renovated 531 and 753 transfers I remember used to have the word Respray on them. Under the 531/753 in big letters across the label
