Peugeot energy 400

Hello
I present a Peugeot Energy 400 1997
According to the catalog, it is made of Columbus Pulse steel
And here is the question, what kind of steel is it, usually Cr-Mo or Nivachrome?

It will be Sachs, maybe it will be possible to make it 100% European, and this involves changing the fork? Is that a good move?

Regards

I did very similar with a 500, never quite hit full Euro spec though. I'd keep the fork as @bikeworkshop says it's part of the frame set. Nice frames, not particularly lightweight so Pulse probably isn't a super high end steel but rode well enough and the internal brazing certainly looks neat. Look forward to seeing what you do with it. 👍 😁 _20220512_085957.JPG

You're right, the fork is part of the set.

It's staying for now, but I'll try Marzocchi in the future:)
I'm thinking about some v-break? without the euro concept maybe sram 9.0
PS. Beautiful Energy 500

Euro V-brake is a challenge.
