Had a Peugeot Paris road bike in the late 80's, my dad bought it for me when I was around 12 years old. Was too big for me then, but I did grow to fit it a year or two later.

Right. I have the stem and the bars. But no canti hanger. So either no front brake, or one of you lovely lot will have the sort that attach to a fork crown.

A Peugeot Black Mamba. Slightly ridiculous name and camp paintjob, but decent quality. Reynolds 531.

Nice bike. Bought its even camper brother (or sister) last week.

Sorry to raise an old thread but I had one of these Black Mambas back in its day! If I remember rightly is was 1990 and it cost me the princely sum of £500! Quite expensive for a 17 year old! :shock.

Bought it from Dorridge Cycles in er... Dorridge, Solihull.

Remember spraying the forks bright flouro yellow to make it look like a Marin.......... stupid boy.

Anyway it got knicked not long after I put a flexstem on it.......... :cry:

Bit of a post revival, but I remember a mate ringing a bike shop and asking if they had an 18" black mamba. They promptly put the phone down lol
