Patch limit?

Greetings!

Just a quickie!

How many patches do you guys use before replacing the tube, what with the extortionate prices they charge nowadays???

I usually do it after about 10 or so but my record is 23!! :shock:

Ps. I use a combination of glue and cut-up old inner tubes as patches, what do you use :?:

i use parks patchs mate just peel and stick as to amount i normally keep patching til can get home to a fresh tube

3. thought about 4 but couldn't do it. buy what ever is the cheepest patch kit in the shop.

I never really counted... Just put them in to storage when they start looking like giraffes.

7 for me, and that was on a single length of track, all in one hit :shock: :x

Now my local 99p store sells them, I just replace with fresh tubes, and leave the patched ones for emergencies

No idea, I'm the sort of person that would keep patching until it was more patch than inner tube.

I just buy a new tube is I get a puncture....but then I generally run slime tubes. Slightly more expensive but worth it IMO as I cannot abide changing a tube mid-ride.

Same , I just can't be bothered with it . Will be going tubeless when again , I can be bothered

I like patching .Chalk,glue,little yellow crayon.rough up the area first.
