I'm just watching this live.

All I can say is, "sod that for a laugh"

Hard, hard men to do that race.
 
And Tom Boonen is the toughest of them all, the man is a machine.

If he doesn't win this it will be an utter tragedy.

30MPH pushing the big gears on 200 year old cobbles on country roads. Amazing.
 
50k break and the chase group basically didn't take any meaningful time out of him. Amazing ride.
 
Wow - photo finish for second or what!

Also the new Velodrome is looking very good now - last time I was there it was still just concrete.

300 mph is probably a bit off a exaggeration :D , but it was a epic ride and he has probably ridden the best spring classic seasson ever
