Palmer returns

he will scare them all into losing!

cant wait to see Napalm ride again the sports missed him..

Wonder if hes just doing DH... would be cool to see him ride some 4X too..

I don't know if that's the case. I think riders of today are very different from the late 90's apart from Steve Peat mostly.

For a rider who wasn't super fit (I remember him puking after some races), rode with flats, has his focus on other sports at the same time, he did well.

Since Palmer was never much of a peddler, and was pretty happy to huck a lot of stuff other riders wouldn't, I think he could do well. Take into consideration more suspension to allow him to go off even more.

Most courses don't need much peddling these days, so holding onto the bike and letting go is needed more. Taking into consideration Palmer's MX experience (and have his forearms cut open to get rid of arm pump problems) I think he'll do well.

I'm looking forward to it!

Palmer is all about confidence and out psyching the opposition.. hes incredibly mentally strong...

add that to his amazing riding skills and he will still be a force to be reckoned with i think

I’m not sure about the lack of pedalling – Ft William? – but courses are more technical and flat pedal riders (Sam Hill) are proving that clips aren’t everything. I think if we were talking about a rider at the top of their game then these ‘advantages’ would come in to play… but we’re not.

It would be a great result for Palmer to just qualify, especially at Mount. St. Anne. I’ll be sat in front of my ‘puter, watching it all unfold.
