pace rc35 and magura hs33

Apologies if stating the obvious, but the "spikes" (elbows in magura parlance) can be rotated in their mount (but they're often extremely stiff and may seem like they're fixed).

mine wouldnt budge, even with grips on it.

 might try mine again, then maybe take them off sale if i get them to work.

might try some gasplus on them.

I've just realised....

Mine were the original Evolution adaptors, which were black with silver elbows - these can be rotated with a 13mm spanner (as long as the bolt tension is slacked off a little). These are mentioned on page 8 of that manual. These are the ones that can be very stiff/stuck. If so, soak them like you said.

If you have black elbows, just undo the bolt a bit until you can unmesh the teeth of the elbow from those on the silver evolution adaptor.

what would i need, officially to make a good job of fitting them to the rc35 fork?

as in perfect fitment.

I need to brace my HS11s (using RC35s) but the Pace mounts that are on mine are just the clamp type - no legs.

The problem is that the action of forks is compramised as I have to do the leg clamps up really tight to stop Maguras from moving outwards under braking. Loctite has been suggested - but to brace across would be ideal. Any thoughts?
