Yeah mate, they went the year after the Yorkshire TDF start. From what I was told they moved shops to be on the route but then the route changed and they didn't get the cash boost they expected. Something like that anyway. I always liked the original tiny shop and the next big one that I worked in but they seemed to change focus when they moved in to town. Again, from memory the original owner (Eddie Argle?) moved/ was moved on and that coincided with a lot of changes that spoiled the shop IMO.

there doesnt look to be much room at the top of the seatube for a clamp..?

Well there’s a bolt hole on the top that it bolts on. It’s not a bike to ridden sat down any way

Amazing finish Is the main frame polished too, as it looks darker than the headtube?
