I know the tyres need to go. But I am looking for some retro semi-slicks. Any suggestions?

When your bike was new speced with full XTR M900 like yours they was selling for over £2500 in some of the shop ads

Really clean sbtle build that, impressive work indeed.

The tyres are particularly offensive to me, but defo need changing for retro aesthetics...

Semi slicks you say...? ..... hmmm....... maybe Wildgripper sprints?

what about some black XTR decals for your cranks there on ebay cheep for the M900 crank arms

Nice bike, big day for people to get their Paces out.

Well done on the garden too, the borders look as tidy as the bike. The lawn has come through the drought earlier this year well.

I ran my old pace with Tioga city slickers. Worst slick tyres ever, fine straight but totally unpredictable round corners. But I had some Continental ones that were 1" width on it later on which were really good, Can't remember the name though.

Thanks for the positive feedback all. I use the bike quite regularly which is why I stuck on the Schwalbes as a temporary measure. However I am now officially on the hunt for a pair of black Michelin Wildgripper Sprint Tyres!
