Cheers. Really happy with how it looks and the MD is just great, a lovely chunky and positive change that reminds me a little of the Campagnolo on my road bike in terms of shift quality. Only planned change to the spec would be a Syncros seatpost in black just to make sure collars and cuffs match, otherwise nothing is changing!

Really nice clean build, you don't see many XC Pro equipped Paces about so for that I salute you mate!

Took the bike for its first ride round my local trail at the weekend. Performed rather well for a 20 year old bike though having not ridden a mountain bike for quite some time, I didn't manage to keep up with my friend on his fully rigid Attitude...

Hi there,

I appreciate this thread is pretty old now, but I was wondering if anybody could advise me on what width seat post to get for my PACE RC200 F3 I'm wondering between 29.00mm and 29.40mm? Or another size? Any suggestions or advice.....

29.4 as above, PACE say buy quality to make sure it is 29.4, buy 400mm etc long so you have plenty in the frame and iirc Sycros is a brand recommendation.

(I think I used a lomg Tioga/brandX/Generic kalloy inline job)

Got a couple of 29.4 posts in the stash if you need any. They were actually bought for the frame in this build thread but 8 never got round to finishing it but chicken did a fine job.
