Goldtech Cassette

Got to say I love the Goldtech cassette, can you get thoose in nine speed. BTW I love the whole Gold thing. Got some nice gold hope skewers and Chainring bolts on my scott scale.

I wonder how much it costs to gold plate a bike

and how much weight it adds!

You cant get Goldtec cassettes anymore full stop. It would make sense that the gold colour will be ti-nitride coating for better wear characteristics. That said the centre of those Goldtec hubs are also ti-nitride coated and the only reason I can see for it there is aesthetic. (I have the same hubs on my RC200- super nice, i too would love a matching cassette)

Bought this a few years ago on here - apparently was raced by Richard Thackray at the Worlds a few years back.

It's a RC100 but a team model, with extra milling to the tubes.

He's a friend of mine, as is his brother (Robert) & parents (Phil & Nora)

I ran a Fell-Race with them in February
