Pace RC100 in MBUK

MBUK do 13 issues a year, one every 4 weeks, it's 12 months & a next years preview issue, hence the issue date being out of sync.

BITD MBUK did 13 issues a year and I seem to recall they always did a "Midsummer" issue to keep things all in sync. Doesn't seem to happen anymore though...

Will have to wait a bit to get a copy. Our local papershop still has the June 1996 copy in it. Looks like suspension is getting popular but I'm afraid that Ano is going out of fashion.

I'm pretty sure this modern fangled suspension will come to nothing
it's just a phase

I'm more worried to hear about ano though :(

Is that the one with the RetroCycle article in where they pay respect to the bikes when they where kids? The good old days before all this American Mountain Biking malarkey turned up and the slant-parallelogram design of mech was in it's infancy, ah the old days...

Sorry dude, I only got back into the office today.

Was rather chuffed when I thought there was a bottle of wine waiting for me. I was even more chuffed when I found out it was the mag :)

Cheers dude, you are a legend!

Rob

It's been 13 a year since Future bought it in, er, 1993 or so. Midsummer was indeed the favourite "extra" month, although a couple of times in the late 90s there were actually 14 issues in a year. I forget what the extra extra months were called. I remember that it was unnecessarily hard work making them, though ;-)

It was 1991, the summer I was working in a bike shop and never happier... other than now that I am finally engaged to the love of my life :D

I kept the first 'Future' issue for ages as it had a good wheel building article by John Stevenson in it. Don't where it is now, if I still have it...
