Good to see another little'un :)
Was there any frame repair work required on this one?

Pulling up a chair too, I'd reckon the repair/paint loss would have been the seat tube top at least. Looks much shorter than standard. BITD using a shimmed seatpost would forfeit the warranty.
Great looking bike heading the right way

Looks like a standard Pace factory repair, cut off old seat tower and graft on RC200 one, probably when paint was removed.

Keep it polished, tells a story.

Re:

Having refurbished one of these myself I will enjoy following this. They are getting so rare now I would be tempted to have this returned to the grey finish. I personally prefer the RC35's on these. Groupset wise the more common was Suntour XC-Pro although you could get it with Campagnolo. Brakes wise the ones fitted are newer as it would have come with Magura Hydrostop HS 11's

Good Luck

Re:

I've gone hs33 on the brakes, the re-reviting of the bottle cage bolt went well as the school I work at has a plane build on the way so lovely kit to borrow! 3D printed guides look OK.

Re:

Crankset put back together. Luckily had a Pace top ring and Venhill bottom keeping it in house!
