Dirt Disciple
Hi,

is there any chance someone in the know can give me a rough idea of the value of the rc200 frame and forks on page 14 of the 'how much is my xyz worth' thread.

Would like to shift it asap, but its been on the tread a while and
im not sure as to price as its been well used and has a few rubs and scratches.

thanks very much and sorry for being pushy :)

martin

It's early, some would say rarer. Maybe an F3

If it's 100% got no cracks anywhere then between £250-£400 depending on condition.

Forks are probably shagged inside but can be rebuilt.....somewhere between £50-£75, again depending on condition.

Take some very good pix and put it up in the For Sale area here and see what happens, alternatively stick it on fleabay with a starting price of £200.

cheers neill, guess it'll be at the low end of that range, but thats more than ive been offered

just need to decide what to do, i need the cash, but have had the bike that long im kinda fond of it.....dillema!!!

thanks again

If you love it and have fond memories of the good ol' days then keep it.....also you don't see old RC200's like that for sale very often.

you might well be right, just cant see me using it too much now ive my new bike. The tracks on skye are pretty horrendous - either knee deep in peat or seriously steep rocky river beds/paths out of the mountains and the pace was suffering badly (as was i) , the only place i can see getting used is when i take the kids out on the forestry roads - maybe it could be a family heirloom

Ill have a good think... ive had the thing 12 years now, im not usually sentimental with these sort of things, but it will be a bit of tear jerker if it goes
