Orange vitamin t/t2 owners club

Re:

I understood there were a few rogue 1&1/8" Vit T's, but most were 1"
Then maybe the T2 was more consistent 1"?
My Vit T2 is a 1"

Seems odd that they'd go up to 1 1/8" then back to 1". For whatever reason they did I'm a happy bunny with the bike. No time to get out on her today unfortunately.

So, this might be a silly question, but hear me out...

what are the differences between the T and T2 models? is it just the years of production, different style or design features to look for. I couldn't see a wiki anywhere and all over this site they pop up with different decals which also helps!

Reason I ask is I have just got my mitts on a T2, I have no reason to suspect it as anything other than a T2, but it got me wondering.

The main difference was with the rear stays.

The t2 (second generation) has a wishbone rear stay compared to the vitamin t which has two seat stays which join at the seatpost.

Most T's and t2's commonly had 1" headtubes, however there were exceptions, with an occasionally 1/1/8" headtube appearing. (My t2 has a 1" head and the vitamin t has a 1/1/8")

Not quite sure on build years, but as a best guess, it was 92/93 for the vitamin t and 94/97 for the t2 (sure i will be corrected on this).

Thats great info, such an obvious difference like the seat stays should keep it simple! Cheers.

Re:

Another Vit T in the wild, been posted before but seems like a good place to add it again.
