Orange p7 2017

Figured I'd start a build thread for this. Building this up for a friend who's surprising her husband with it!! So unfortunately it's not for me, although it might get a cheeky ride before handing it over as its the newest thing I've built!! Might just pursuade me to get a pace or cotic

Started off as a frame, which as a bonus came with hope clamp and headset



Next thing was to contact orange regarding some decals. They had them in various colours but thought the black looked smarter. Although they don't seem to have the Reynolds decal on the seat tube? Anyone know where I can get one?

Lovely. I've got a 2020 P7 and it's a proper bruiser!

Very good. I had one and thought it was ace. bit of a lump but so much more flickable and fun compared to my 29er full suss. Just built up a Pace RC627 as I missed having a 650b hard tail.

Looking forward to taking for a spin. I know it's not complete but it does feel pretty light.

I think a pace would be my first choice

Few more parts arrived. Matching orange hope brakes, some nukeproof pedals and a nukeproof saddle

Some orange ano chainring bolts would look good. I had the thought of splurging a load of orange hope on mine. Got as far as the seat collar and stem stackers before being distracted by another project
