Ooooh parcel :D - Alpinestars T24 content

Yep, don't think the paint has faded much at all - it's pretty bright

I know it was listed earlier this year for two hundred and something and received an offer which was declined, as I spotted the old listing when doing a search, so was really pleased when he accepted my offer last week :D .

your lucky i didn't see it first    Have been looking for one for ages.

Your very lucky. Look after it :D

Trying to but did manage to stack it into the grass verge this afternoon. Why did nobody warn me about under-downtube mounted bottle cages :? - one minute I'm happily pootling along enjoying the sunshine . . . reach for my bottle and BAM! I end up on the grass verge, bike on top of me and my hand somehow through the fork crown/front tyre gap    . Thanks to the guy who stopped his car to check if I was alright. I think I shall use a Camelbak in future

Don't worry - the bike is fine

Alpinestar Cromega LX T26

I wonder why it's called T24 in UK when the sticker on mine shows T26...no matter. Here's my bike, bought NOS.

Wow! Looks amazing :p . I so wish I'd kept mine - reckon I'm gonna make a New Year's resolution not to sell anything to fund more builds and just keep adding to the ones I already have :?

IIRC the T24 in the name referred to the standover clearance but the name was changed to T26 in subsequent years to avoid the 24" wheel assumption. Lovely little bikes and such a comfy ride. Enjoy!!

Happy New Year Mamadirt! Yes, pls keep them. Once gone, too late to regret. I guess the reason you sell your collection is probably you've ran out of storage space! :) That's what had happened to me. Now I regret selling my NOS Laserlite. If you're interested to see them in it's factory packed origins, do drop by my blog.

Cheers!

Loving those oldschool BMXs :p (oh, and you might want to reverse the 'p' and the 's' in your link ;) ) .

Have a good New Year!

hi
they are interesting looking bikes aren't they. if you check this link you'll see first year they had 24" wheels and were called T24. next year of production changed to 26" wheels and renamed T26 to allow bigger selection of wheels. i picked up one of these awhile ago. (face in hands) what was i thinking. i'm 6' tall. i put a 410mm seatpost in it and tried to ride it. my head was over the front hub. probably looked like a circus clown.
