PRICE DROP:

For sale I have the following:

Funk Titanium Suspension Forks 1"1/4 x 300mm threaded steerer (50mm threads)
Very Good Condition. These forks have titanium stantions, and so avoid the problems that Funk had with the chrome plated stantions....these beauties are spot on.
Steerer has been dropped down within the crown for easy packaging, just loosen the crown bolts and slide up the steerer to the original position and tighten for use.
Function perfectly. £250 SOLD

Onza Titanium Mark 1 Barends
Very good condition with minor scuffs (see pics)
Decals in good nick £70SOLD

SOLD:

NOS Funk Pro Comp Frame (92/93) 16" C-T-Top / 10.75" Toptube / 1"1/4 Headtube / 26.8mm seatpost
Immaculate in Silver/Blue Fade, custom painted by Rich Hart of Centralia, W.A.
Never built so obviously never ridden :) SOLD

Rigid Funk Forks 1"1/4 x 148mm threaded steerer (48mm threads)
Very Good Condition. A couple of tiny light scratches are visible on the lower legs but as you can see in the photos these are very minor. These forks may have been fitted to a bike but they do not appear to have been ridden much at all.

I have spare FUNK decals for these forks too.

I contacted Daryll Funk via email regarding these forks as I wanted 100% confirmation of their authenticity as Funk forks. Of course I included many pictures of the forks and this is the reply he sent (I can forward it to any interested party if required):

"Hi Drew,

I'm pretty sure these forks have been re-painted because we typically did not paint the fork ends. It also appears as if the welding was dyna-filed. Having said that it takes complex tooling to bend 1.5" O.D. tubing so I'm pretty sure this fork is an original. I get a lot of requests for this fork so it probably has some if not quite a bit of value......mostly from those who are following the early mountain bike scene and collecting the bikes from that era.

Thanks for the memories and kind words. Best! Daryl Funk"

For these forks I am looking for £200. SOLD

All prices include shipping within the UK. Shipping abroad will be extra so please contact me for a shipping quote.
All items will be very safely bubble-wrapped and boxed for transit.
Any questions just ask :)

Re:

Dibs if you split the forks. Mainly interested in the Sus one for my funk frame but maybe interested in both if you split. Thankfully for my bank manager that frame is too small.

Re: NOS Funk Pro Comp/ Funk Ti Sus & Funk Rigid Forks/ Onza Ti

Stunning, shame it's too small.

Good luck

Dibs noted on the Ti sus forks Ti_pin_man but really trying to keep the frameset together. Rigid forks are available seperately.

Cheers folks,

Drew

I guessed :D and the rigid forks are indeed tempting... the only things putting me off is I'd need to get the repainted to match this:

http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewto ... p;start=70

AND I'd need to see if the steerer was long enough AND change stems and headset to a threaded version .... But that Sus fork would look perfect.

Was this mr_ships originally?

No, this was another beauty that came from sidekick416 in Singapore as had mr_ships but they are different frames/forks.....what a collection that man has (or has had over the years!!) :)

Wow, that is some paint scheme...nice build. Funk paint jobs were never boring :)
