I was after a pair of porcipaws today, so contacted RocknRoll bikes A.k.a super cycles in Nottingham, who now own the onza brand, and mentioned in passing that i had had to buy some chill pills from America and had they thought about reproducing then.
was speaking with Mike Poyzer, a thoroughly nice bloke i must say, and heres what he had to say, well what he typed anyway

"We are looking at Chill pills and the complete brakesets. Also the elastomer HO SPD pedals which still have a strong following.

I then emailed him back to say how much demand there is in regards to White Porcs too, which im sure he is aware, but dont get excited he hasnt answered yet,

however i do know, as i have some, that they are reproducing the black porcs, so surely it cant be much more difficult to make the white ones,
he also seems to respond to demand too, as they already have remade porcs, porcipaws and ules too, so who knows will keep you posted anyway

nope, and i must say im ignorant of those also,so did not ask

however my porcipaws were out of stock, and they were waiting for a shipment to come in, reading between the lines i think they have them made in the far east somewhere, and the factory would already be capable of making whatever sort of tyre or grip is needed. I understand that they hold the patent or molds or whatever to a particular design

they reintroduced the ules porcs and paws due to perceived demand,
perhaps if people can let him know they are interested he would order whatever would sell.
I already have my name down for some brakes,lol and hopefull my enthusiasm may play a part in him going ahead and having them made, so who knows

have just thought, if there is enough interest on here i could email him this link to evidence the interest,
he was already aware of the retrobike thing though, and that the majority of the porcipaws go to retro bikers and trials riders, he said they have made the grips longer for the trials people, but left the partitions so the retrobikers can stil leasily trim them to length

Keep su posted as to what he re-makes. Any porcs with pukka logos would be good. Might be best to leave the HOs though....

My LBS has a stack (20 odd) sets of Chill Pills and assorted Porcipaws if you are interested!

People do want them. Had a boxes and boxes of spares for these. Sold the lot on ebay a couple of years back, thought I'd get peanuts for 'em, not at all :shock:
