:roll: Fitting a hope expander cog ive got onto a pro 2 with a 10spd XT cassette.
Had this thing a while but didnt realize they were sram or shimano specific so sat till the 10 spd cassette came into use.
I was under the impression that its a simple matter of removing the smallest cog, to make up for the extra big cog. But now the lockring for the cassette doesnt reach far enough to secure it. and in place and tightened you can remove the cassette still. Obviously not right.
Is there a wider flanged cassette lockring youre supposed to use also ?
The hope ring has sh on it, so im sure that is shimano.
