one off american navy made mountain bike....

got a friend selling this as a one off american navy built mountain bike, only 1 in the country!!! ive tried to tell him its more than likely a mass produced frame with cheap parts added that somebody probably won as a second prize in a raffle, can anyone shed some light on it, ive got £10 riding on it not being a one off american navy made mountain bike

yeah, i'm afraid this is nothing special, could be one of approx 30 different brands of bike straight out of the far east, maybe £150 brand new. sorry to be harsh. people get told all sorts of rubbish these days and sometimes those without the knowledge believe it.

ive told him its nothing special and most certainly not made by the american navy, i'll stick some army stickers on my kona and go to war with him
