On balance, I still am not a fan of e-bikes (previously known as ‘I just don’t get E bikes’)

Initially I truly wasn't trolling if you read back. More trying to get across a point that i understand e-bikes but their usage has been abused.

But once the insults start being thrown its fair game in my eyes.

Had a good gravel ride this morning, waved to many ebike too.
Gravel? GRAVEL? Shame on you Sir.

Seriously…very envious….stuck inside right now….if you are out and about and the wheels are turning (and the coffee and cakes are beckoning) then all is right with the world…..

I ride lots of gravel and road lately. Think it’s the ability to cover more miles from my door without having to drive to the good stuff which appeals.

Sun is shining here now so a chippy run (no cakes) in the car is calling

stick a motor on the bike, then you can drive and pedal to the good stuff... ;-)

Good rationale - I am thinking hard about location right now. I want to be able to wake up, have a coffee, walk to the workshop, and reach the trails on the bike. Currently it’s a 40 minute drive to decent singletrack, which I really don’t like. So I am thinking hard about changing it.
