In response to your question fluffy chick, I did actually polish up the fork hanger but it looked too much I thought so I roughed it up etch primered it and put it back to super gloss black ;-) The Zaskar is having the odd bit of black anodizing anyhow !!

Look ace, love the cranks and stem. However Gump is right, the RS mags are of course magnesium alloy and will corrode a lot quicker than aluminium, they will go dull and small pits will appear. Maybe a good coat of car wax would help (?) but I'd really be looking to have them lacquered asap.

yeah i do know land rovers quite well
used to work for a land rover/rover dealership for years
and owned shed loads of disco,s and rangies
