Old Raleigh head badges - but how old, how can you tell?

Found these in the bits box while looking for something else completely. Haven't a clue how I came by them, I suppose what I really want to know is if they have enough age to be worth anything to someone, or shall I put them in the metal recycling for the tip run tomorrow.... :LOL:

Sorry to bring an 8 year old thread back to life, but would you still have the badge on the left? The silver one? It is the EXACT one on my mums bike that i'm trying to restore from the 1960's. The bike restorer i gave it to- he dipped it in acid and it all rubbed off. I'm trying to track down the exact one. This is the only one I can find through Google.
