oil dampened Manitou Three

I am in the process of rebuilding a Manitou Three and found that the left skewer assembly has a small oil filled shock. Obviously this was an aftermarket upgrade. I wanted to see if anyone could tell me a little more info regarding this and whether or not it is worth keeping.

Definitely keep that, and put springs in that leg too, with MCU's in the other...

I think this was an upgrade by Eko sport, had one once myself a while back.

Been a while since I had my EFC apart, but that's my take also; that they're likely from an EFC.

The little white plastic pot looking thing with the small metal tube looks exactly like an Englund/Eko sport cart I had (with instructions) in some mani 3s. You had to fit it through the preload adjuster screw and it replaced the elastomer skewer. Seemed to work ok.

You wouldn't happen to still have a copy of those instructions? I need to figure out what kind and how much oil to replace.
