Earlier this week I bought this Pro-Flex 752. The bike is original and in a nice shape. It is not new: there are paint scratches, but most can be polished away. The DX group is excellent and shiny. I do like the gloss red paint. I haven't tried the bike yet. Probably the elastomers need replacement.

I am the second owner. The first owner had a second home in CH, where he bought the bike from A. Reuteler in Saanen. The shop is still in business.

In the early nineties I found Pro-Flex interesting. They offered something different. The first ever XC full suspension? I never owned one, as Koga was my brand. Now 30 years later and for a tenth of the original price it is nice to be able to experience the Pro-Flex.

Do you have any plans to restore or upgrade anything else on the bike, or are you keeping it as original as possible?

With so many original parts it is tempting to keep it original. Possibly the refelctors won't return. The rear one is branded A. Reuteler, what is a nice touch. I think a pair Controltech bar ends will complement the bike well.

The Pro-Flex is not my first full suspension bike. That is the Verlicchi DH. I bought it around 2005. Unlike the Pro-Flex it is aimed at downhill. The Verlicchi is the first full suspension bike to win the DH world title (Bromont 1992). Coming from rigid bikes this was something different for me. I still have the bike. The current status is that the XC700 need a service.

I like riding the Verlicchi a lot, as is demonstrated here ==>
