Offroad ‘Proflex’ in the wild – What model?

To my great excitement I saw this down the local station as I was parking up my Offroad 550. (not that exciting to most I’m sure but for me there was that whole ‘it’s like mine’ going on).

What do we think it is? (Apologies for the crummy image).

I didn’t see a number clearly on it. To me it looks like a 750 frame but resprayed and with a different fork. I’m not convinced about this though as it appeared to have most of the relevant decals and the Girvin stem colour is not to that of a 750?

Kit wise it just had modern stuff on so that doesn’t really give any clues…

Any thoughts?

That was for sale on eBay a few weeks back.

It's the same as mine which I picked up 2nd hand in 1992 and swapped for a 1993 Pine Mountain in about 1994 I think.

I *think* you're right about the 750, and here's mine in its original metallic brown and salmon pink (!) though with the later rear elastomer cut down to fit. Pics not good enough to read the model number and I can't remember...
