Hey guy’s manage too stubble into a bike shop in Vancouver, B.C., to find a water bottle holder, got talking to the owner of dream cycle, great guy and he pulled out this curved bontranger fork, and I was flabbergasted, then he pointed out that it came with this frame up there, which was hanging in the ceiling, so we pulled it down, looked at it, it had a old mountain and beach decal, and a Rocky Mountain decal as well on it, at first I thought it might be a old lugged Rocky but some of the small features didn’t make sense to me, so I decided to ask the owner is it for sale and he said sure, So I decided buy as well as a blinged up wick fat chance as well. So I decided to phone the man , Rod kirkham which was the off-road toad man, and owner of mountain and beach cycle. So we chatted for about a hour, I sent him some pictures of it, he looked over the pictures, and he had told me that the frame was one of the prototypes that ken Legge had built as an example for Rod. Rod had said to me the reason they didn’t go with kens design is because they wanted a sloping and horizontal top tube style frames and more of a modern frame style.
