hi all

i know the infamous problem of fitting new internal bolt calipers to older frames with a drilled brake bridge but what about the other way aroubd? can you fit nut fitting calipers to a frame with a recessed fitting?

Re:

Yeah, easy. Just put a sleeve in the larger hole and then bolt up as you would on an older frame.
For the sleeve, just buy a length of suitable metal tube from an ironmonger and cut off a length to suit

awesome thanks :D

I have used a spare recessed nut drilled out to 7mm. works a treat and removable if you need to change back.
