Very! seeing it after I polished it, was so worth it

😂 hands certainly would of never slipped off haha, they had turned like glue
 
I haven’t yet

my plan is to take it apart again this winter, polish it all up again and then Clear coat it :)

In the early days of cycling, 1880s paint was often an optional extra.

Some riders would oil their bare steel frame after each use!

Sadly if you then left your bike in the shed for 100 years, there wasn't much to show for it.
