NukeProof Hubs?

There's not many pictures on this thread ;)

I picked up the front wheel as a bargain and then spent a long time looking before finding a similar, but not identical rear hub (that was a real hassle to actually get). I've bought a NOS X221 rim to match the front, so I just need to get it built up and I can use the set .... possibly on the Aende.

No idea of year or model of either hub.

Re:

Not my pic, but this is the same model as the hub I sold recently.
Maybe the Carbon Mk2? very "spindly" looking hub. Rough carbon weave, yellow decal.

I've owned many sets of NP hubs, most of which are cracked at the flanges. This said, I know riders who have hammered on the early carbon NP cassette hubs for years with no cracks. The ones shown in KingofFootball's post are the later Atom Bomb/Bombshell versions which are stouter and supposedly hold up better.

The carbon ones are cooler than the Superfly ones. (even though the golden ones posted above are pretty cool). The freehub is Shimano so I replaced the standard steel one on mine with the XTR Ti freehub body making the hub even lighter.
