Nuisance phonecalls

I ask them to hold on for a moment and place teh handset by the TV speaker or tell tham that the person they want to speak to passed away and act very hurt that they even called.

I am being targeted by one of those boiler room share scams. A bloke who claims to have spoken to me in the past has some shares too good to miss. He gave a company name the first part of which is a well known car insurance company (oh, yes) that doesn't deal in shares but is a name you recognise. I could find no mention of his company on the web.

Last time he rang I asked him if he was allowed to wear shorts and a tee shirt to work. When he asked me why, I sain it must get very warm in his boiler room. Haven't heard from him since.
