What are those brakes? I have never seen them.

They are Pederson SE 2000. Got them cheap like £35 a front/rear set years ago, they sat in the box unused for quite some time until I realised the colour could work with this bike.

Don’t know if they were made under license or something, the packaging says Tektro on the back. It’s pre dot com looking at the lack of website etc on the packaging. I kept it to be able to remember how to set them up as they have no external spring to set in the mount.

Someone else also asked! Unusual design in that the spring is integrated in the straddle set up.

Disc brakes are here to stay whether I like it or not, I may have to eat my opinions one day. Which I've no problem with.

Would usually post this in the eBay section but thought this Peugeot coming up at auction could be in the spirit of the thread! I think cleaned up and decluttered there is a nice looking French bike there.
