How can you tell it's 12v? Would you be better off running two headlights?

They are halogen lights and coupling two to a dynamo I think can only be 12 volt. Those e6 headlights were nice (I have two), but the beam is quite narrow, so with two you get a double beam.

All I can find out about this is it's made by Tomoda. Is Sunset the model? I don't know.

Japanese and built very much in the French style.

I’m not sure of the brand, but it’s French. I’ve never been able to figure out exactly what I have here. Tubular track style tyres and rims, Super Champion, Reynolds 531 tubes, Lam long reach side pull brakes, French BB, French thread pedals and French 4 speed cassette.
