in ok condition,plastic bike faded

Sweden's answer to Kirk :?:

In Sweden they constantly float about the 500 - 1000 SEK mark. They are not rare and no one seems
in a mad rush to own one. Never seen one actually been ridden, and what I understand is they
are difficult to modify and upgrade.

Perhaps it would fetch more in the UK, that one appears to be in good condition too.

Re:

Wouldn't be any use here, I once left the mobile phone on the roof for the afternoon, it melted, just tiled over it, it's now part of the bitumen waterproof layer :D

Maybe worth sending an email to the Uk plastics museum...

Or advertise it on the Volvo owners club forum, well they bought the car... ;)

Puts glasses on,Strings, not magic after all.Doesn't old plastic go brittle.

Weren't they marketed in the UK in the 80's by Falcon or one of the other 'major' brands? I seem to recall that the name was used for a short while to part sponsor a UK professional team - but they rode conventional bikes. There was a 'rumour' going round that one of the team pro's was going to tackle the end-to-end record using a version of one but it never happened. I wonder why???????????...........
