Not a Holdsworth?

I mean it looks like one, but the frame number doesn't seem right.

Frame number is M8F11913

Looking for something to replace my Holdsworth Equipe and found this.

Not a braze-on in sight, the seat stay arrangement and fork crown looks very Falcon like.....

whoever performed the present respray did not bother to remove the head cups

appears they wished to reproduce the Holdsworthy team orange colour but were unable to locate the correct paint to do it so they ended up with this

see nothing to suggest a Holdsworthy product

the dropouts with the offset eyelets are something common on Nippon products of this time, although NERVEX produced a similar set

no guesses as to who produced it but would guess a national origin of Nippon

would expect a high-tensile tubeset

fork likely to be an "off the shelf" product from one of the Asian specialty fork producers such as Akisu, Lung, Nissan or Tange

steerer probable to be marked with one of these names

Same chap has another one on sale - equally butchered paint and lug 'lining'

That looks a bit better. At least it has Nervex lugs and is a decent colour.
