Forks look a bit simpler on the red bike.

Yep, I'm not certain what the Monsoon forks should look like.
For comparison here's some forks of a 1961 Cyclone (matching frame numbers, my paint)

I think it unlikely that we will find a spare set of forks, so it will have to go with what it’s got. Just waiting for a few more parts before I build it up. It’s going to be a mix of parts some later than the bike, if it had the original forks I might have tried to keep with same period parts.
