Now then, because Mrs Peachy slightly overindulged re the Tequila on a Mexican themed Friday night out.. I was asked on Saturday for forgiveness and as she felt she really needed a day to get over the vapours, would I like something in return?
Well instead of planning a week down the pub, I asked for a Sunday of entirely my own planning...
Now this envolves taking our Jimmy to Rugby mid-morning and then an afternoon with miss Peachy working on her Silver DofE project...viewtopic.php?f=6&t=396590#p2928543

Argh!!! But I realised at 6am I hadn’t baked the set of Panaracers she wanted for her build! What to do?

Excuse the preamble, but here’s how I got around baking whilst the house was occupied....

Tyres in the oven....



Bacon in the Aga/under the grill (delete as appropriate)



Oh and I popped round the corner to get her a Sunday Times..... With a fresh brew, that should keep her in bed for at least an hour...
And just in case a further cover story is required, I can claim a bit the plastic packaging went in by accident

Bravo for believing and embracing the science Peachy. I applaud the use of 303 too. I’ve previously used AutoGlym Instant Tire Dressing which effectively does the same thing. *applause*

This was an awesome tip back when it was brought up by regan_ev, thanks for that!

As I live in Finland and here almost every other home has their own sauna, I tried a slightly more wife friendly approach to the subject. I warmed the sauna to about 80 degrees, put my skinwall Tioga Psychos on the top bench there and gave them about 30 minutes of sauna relaxation. Worked like a charm! Even the wife was home, aware of my experiments and I got away with just one roll of the eyes

So a wife-friendly alternative for oven confirmed!

I just did this to my NOS Panaracer Smoke... worked great!

The temp was hard to control on my old gas stove but I did about 180 degrees for 15 minutes. The tire was shiny and black again. After cooling for a minute the wet looking portions were absorbed and it looks perfect.
