NOS and perfect apparently

Bumping this as I’ve noticed the photos now show a totally different mech, which does indeed look unused.
Begs the question, what was going on before; had the seller just uploaded the wrong pics of a scuffed up old one by mistake?

Edit: isn’t it way more expensive now? (I’d never have thought £100 a good deal!) There’s no mention of the listing being amended…?

You'd be disappointed if you wanted NOS.
Surprising he's got high 100% feedback although all I could see was as a buyer, so negative is not possible.

He's either not looked at it and is bull5hitting, or he's looked at it and is lying.
New-ish Old Stock? Could be a thing ;)

It's clearly confusing that
New Old Stock
Newish Old Stock
and
Not Old Stock
All share the same acronym.

But it's even more confusing that this listing showed a (lightly) used 600 derailleur in the correct box, but now shows a different and far better condition item, in the same box!🤯

I was just going to say @bikeworkshop that I must be missing something as it looks like NOS to me from the picture. Shenanigans afoot!

I thought a post to clarify would help👍
Here's a screenshot of the original:

And
here it is a few days later:

Different boxes, so I think what's happened is he's sold 2 through an almost identical listing and the link is messing up, or perhaps just sold one off ebay and used the same listing to sell another. 20250212_103413.jpg
