Old School Grand Master
Your wish is my command Tom,
I spent the day in work researching these rather than doing my job (as you do)
Admittedly Im rather confused as they look slightly similar to Rollercam brakes but also totally at the same time, different some guy in Germany was selling them and he called them u-brakes but again they looked nothing like the other u-brakes I saw.
I dont care, they stop the bike well enough and look cool because they are as different as the whole bike is.
Other than taking these pics I took the opportunity to put a 3rd coat on the stand and I'll post pics of those eventually.

To be fair they could do with a little bit of love and attention, with the nuts & bolts needing to be wire brushed and maybe painted for protection.
This is also on the frame does anyone know anything about it, clearly security markings somewhere but is coming off when I do the rest of the protection films cos it looks out of place.

Technically it's not rollercam, because it doesn't have a cam and rollers.

The geometry of operation is similar though.
It's not a u brake, as that is levered with a straddle pulling the crossed arms together

I did a thread on "delta-brakes" using the term to refer to the overall shape rather than operation...
I just stumbled across a couple of models of Delta brake i was unfamiliar with on ebay... and the old favourites obvs.
I imagine many were made in response to the beauty, cost and sculptural quality of the campagnolo delta - which came in 3 and 5- lever versions.
I also imagine they were as annoying to set up and as disappointing in performance.
I've onlyset up campag and shimano ax roller cam, anyone familiar with the others in action?

This includes some similar designs, but yours would be a welcome inclusion - takethe opportunity to tell us what you gogled during a "busy day" at work

The holographic sticker is for SmartWater I think, a paint- on product with a unique molecular identity - hard to remove, but requiring special test equipment.
