Wanted NOS 24x2.1 or 24x2.0 tire

I have this lovely Cannondale SM600 from 1985.
I am searching a NOS 24x2.1 or 24x2.0 tire for the rear wheel.

Kindly let me know where I can find such a tire.

As said in the other thread, the stock tires would be very difficult to find. A period correct alternative could be the Kenda K50 BMX Cruiser tires, they should be available as replicas in 26" and 24".

I’d get some searches dialled in and saved on eBay then prepare for (probably) a long wait. Stuff does sometimes eventually turn up with a little patience.

This bike shares the same original tyres and wheel size as a Muddy Fox Bigfoot. There was one a while back on eBay I think with the original tyres so could be worth expanding searches. I’m sure there are many of us on here who have bought a whole bike just for the tyres.

Keep an eye on bikes for sale here sometimes a seller is willing to sell tyres and may have spares for that bike.

This sort of rarity it’s going to be luck and persistence.

If you’re looking for catalogue correct it’s worth remembering National Tire became Panaracer which is easier to search for.

Got some tans wall Kendal’s might be a little Bigger but don’t look it. They are unridden but not brand new.

I have found a NOS Panaracer from the 80s for this bike. For this reason a used Kenda tire is not matching to the 26“ front tire.
