Looking at Carl's FB photos from last Saturday there's still shit loads of snow.

Still tons of snow at Thrunton. Couldn't drive past the caravan site up to main car park.

The Burn path (rooty track) has about 6-8" of soft snow and fallen trees. Even the fire roads are 6" plus with fallen trees across them.

The place is a complete knacker job.

Yesterday`s Rothbury conditions:
Anywhere that has pedestrian traffic is now packed ice, great long expanses of the stuff. There are little or no big melt patches, climbs are still snow/ice. Its bloody awful
