Noisy chain

Ive just collected my roadbike back from the shop where I had the front mech replaced. Whilst riding home, its really noisy in the highest gear. Making a clinking and grinding sound

Could it be the crank guard catching the gear mech? Or that the chain is old and stretchy so its hitting the mech?

Or is the new mechanism set up wrong?

if it went in as quiet as a mouse and came out noisy then logic dictates it's the new mech....

Maybe the travel screws need adjusting?

It's either the travel screws or the mech has been positioned incorrectly. The bike shop should be happy to sort it FOC.
