Nobby nics puncture all the time..alternatives needed

I'm using the rocket rons pace star 3 tubeless only, initial set up was a pain but once they pop on the rim there good.

I'm a big fan of Schawble tyres.

I've just swapped my Hans Dampf's for a Magic Mary and Rock Razor. Always run tubeless with little or no effort and very good reliability. I've not tried ghetto tubeless because my rims are UST.

I'll be interested to see how you find the Marys and Razors...a Nobby Nic rear and Hans Dampf front at the mo but heard good things about the Marys...

Had my first ride out today...the Mary is an amazing tyre but is super aggressive and looks huge compared to a Hans Dampf. The Razor is a good summer tyre but I can find the limits of grip pretty quickly especially when trying to slow down on steep stuff. It just doesn't have the bite of a Hans Dampf.

The Mary has impressed me so much that I might buy two Super Gravity versions for uplift days.

Thanks for the feedback on the Marys...liking the Hans on the front really, it bit nicely today in the wet mud, Nobby on the back squirms a bit but ran it today at 23 psi and it did well...mine are 29" and tubeless...

How did you find the Dampf on the rear? Vs the Nobby Nic?

Not used the Nobby Nic. I went straight ti a pair of Hans Dampfs (pace star rear, trail star on the front). They roll pretty well for a chunky tyre and were great for a year or so but they've gone off the boil a bit now. The nobs have started to tear a bit which makes them feel squirmy.

I can't complain though because they're over a year old and have been used loads including a trip to Bike Park Wales.

Odd.

Could it just be that I have the rubbish compound cheapy ones? Pinch flats are the worst issue I have with them, but they definately wash out when you put your foot down in sharp bends also.
