Silly question, but does the u brake fit frames with mounts on the seat stays? Based on chain damage mentioned I'm assuming this came off the chain stay?

If it will fit, I could be tempted if the damage can be filed and painted?

You are right it was chain stay mounted. Don't know whether it will fit other mounts, maybe someone else will know?

Pretty sure damage will look ok once filed and painted.
