Nice early Saracen locked outside my house

On Friday night someone must have ridden their bike to the pub to watch the rugby locking it to the street sign outside my house.

Then got absolutely leathered and forgotten about it because its still there must say its very very nice

Powder blue frame which looks original and pretty much spotless and Deore groupset throughout with U brakes

Frame looks a bit like a Clockwork around the seat cluster

We're starting to take bets now on how long it will take them to remember they rode to the pub

It's nice to see them used, isn't it? There's a bloke who rides a really nice Orange Clockwork into Reading every day. I don't think he particularly realises it's an expensive bike, but apart from rack & mudguards it's mostly original. That's much nicer than a pristine one that some collector just looks at occasionally.

Before I registered on here I used to bike into work in Bristol on my Clockwork and never locked it :shock:

have to agree theres something special about seeing them in the wild no amount of nos will ever match that patina of real life
