Evening,
I was pointed to this forum after putting out a request for some old 7 speed bits on another forum. I think I have looked at every post on the Readers ride section - I am hooked.
I have an old Spesh Rockhopper, about 1990 I think, that I am trying to restore into a usable bike. I only had the frame and wheels so have been buying a few bits off ebay, so far I have an alloy fork with a about 1 inch travel that I can't identify, some x-lite bars and a few of the original shimano bits - Altus I think, possibly Alivio.
I am trying to get it back close to original spec, so before I post a wanted ad for the missing bits I thought I would introduce myself.
