New washing machine - Any recommendations?

Ive gone through a beko and a hotpoint in a year... Now contracting washing to close family members...

7 years and only repair was a new seal last year .

Our Samsung one has never been any bother... It runs off cold only which is less economical, but given how often our boiler breaks that's not necessarily a bad thing.

It also plays a tune at the end of the cycle. A merry ditty of sorts.

I am easily pleased.

I've got one of them too. It goes do do do la la la, do do do la la la la la la.

We have a Miele that has been trudging on since 94 odds, very quiet and very heavy.

Also we have a Blomberg that is really quiet and has been trouble free for something like eight years.

Blomberg are very highly rated in Germany and Scandinavia.

One or two others include one from Loot bought for £30 still running seven years on and a washer dryer roughly the same age no probs so far.

Think one is Indesit, one Ariston.

I think it's 'Heatline' or something... Sold cheap in B&Q, fitted expensively by half arsed plumber.

Boilers seem to be treated as consumable white goods, despite costing an arm and a leg to replace.

But that washing machine tune always cheers me up on an off day.

^ This is basically what a washing machine repair man said to me 5 years ago. Recommended I get a Beko, 5 years later and it's still chugging away.

Another vote for Beko from me, had mine nearly 3 and a half years; only blip along the way needing a call-out has been a blocked drainage pump (my fault for not emptying the filter trap often enough ). Still going strong despite living in a hard water area.
