Cheers for the reply, just looking for a XT chainset and a nice set of wheels for her.
Went out on it yesterday and was happy with it but my fitness needs work!

Hi I picked up the forks off here (lad in France).
Hydorah nice find, wish mine had full XT when I bought it but I guess I'd have paid more than the £90 odd I did.

The forks are MAG20's from '92 just for the info and look in good condition.

The crown though looks odd, it's not a standard one. Any idea what it is ? I mention it out of interest, the legs are quite high up, normally the metal showing should only be 3mm above them, it looks more ?

Swap your brace (the black bit) with the one off your other forks as it's a newer and stiffer one.

Well I've finished her today....

A 99p GT Saddle and Xt seatpost...

Set of rusty Onza bar ends which I sanded painted, put on decals and then laquer....

now look like this...

Set of Mavic rims on M737/8 hubs....

Xt 737 Crankset...

and here's the side view....

Well shes my 2nd build finished so I'm starting on a Cannondale M500 next, should only be waiting for powdercoaters on that one.

I'll keep an eye on your CDale build, sounds like you have a vision - I love that, that's what I do, I look at the pile of metal and muse on what ought to be there...

Looks like the bike is to big for the rider. Is that so/

That why I switched to 14,5" Zaskar ( and now have 2 beautys)

Hi all, thanks for the nice comments.

ZaskarGirl I'm 6' and the bike feels nice and nimble if anything it could do with a slightly longer stem to give me a bit more room. The saddles a touch low but like the clearance for my gentleman's bits.
